Inspiring Black Designers is all about highlighting designers who are talented.

About a month ago, I came across a piece called Culture designed by Chris on Facebook (view below) and was very impressed.

After visiting his website I was even more blown away not only by his pieces, but his consistency of this portfolio and his photography.

He was not only passionate about design but about culture, art, education, and beauty.

He is the nicest guy you would ever meet, so read on and learn why Chris is an inspiring Black designer.

I ran across Landon Williams on LinkedIn while doing my regular research. His client list reads like a Fortune 1000 company lineup: AT&T, Sprint, Home Depot, InterContinental Hotels Group, American Express, and more! We talked about Landon’s time at his alma mater and how that helped shape him as a designer and as a business owner. Enjoy!

When I look for people to interview for Revision Path, I always mark them down on a list so I can follow up with them later. (This list now has over 300 people. I need an intern!)

One of the people on that list was Andrea Williams.

I also ask people who I’ve interviewed if they know anyone else that I could talk to for this site. Remember Chanelle Henry from a few weeks ago? When I asked her if there was anyone she knew I could interview. Not only did she provide me with a list of about 6 or 7 people (whoa!), but guess who was on there? Andrea Williams!

Chanelle Henry

I first heard about Chanelle Henry three years ago via Kickstarter. Her successful campaign allowed her to attend SXSW for the first time, and she’s been blowing up ever since. Aside from being a user experience designer, Chanelle teaches courses through Skillshare, lends her graphic design expertise in videos with Howcast, and owns a boutique collaborative multimedia agency called CHD Collective. I found out about Dewon through one of my Facebook groups, Black Designers United. Dewon is a very talented designer and art director, but he also has a unique perspective on the industry since he lives in a small Southern town.
