Crystal FlemisterI first met Crystal Flemister years ago when we were both designers at AT&T. Since then, she’s moved on to CNN and has been making a name for herself in the local fashion scene with her company Pistol Whipped Cream. We talk about her time at the Art Institute of Atlanta, her inspirations, and…Kanye West? Yep, a little bit of everything. Check it out!

Brandon ButlerBrandon Butler was one of the first people to reach out to me through Facebook. We set up the interview and I have to tell you — it was one of the best interviews I’ve had to date. We talked about his current work with Edelman, and he shared some great advice for up-and-comers in the tech and design industry and told a personal story about motivation that will stick with you well after the interview ends. Without further ado, here’s Brandon!

Landon Williams

I ran across Landon Williams on LinkedIn while doing my regular research. His client list reads like a Fortune 1000 company lineup: AT&T, Sprint, Home Depot, InterContinental Hotels Group, American Express, and more! We talked about Landon’s time at his alma mater and how that helped shape him as a designer and as a business owner. Enjoy!

When I look for people to interview for Revision Path, I always mark them down on a list so I can follow up with them later. (This list now has over 300 people. I need an intern!)

One of the people on that list was Andrea Williams.

I also ask people who I’ve interviewed if they know anyone else that I could talk to for this site. Remember Chanelle Henry from a few weeks ago? When I asked her if there was anyone she knew I could interview. Not only did she provide me with a list of about 6 or 7 people (whoa!), but guess who was on there? Andrea Williams!

Talk about serendipity!

I talked with the Detroit designer about her work, her inspirations, and her influences. Another great interview that you’ll only find here on Revision Path. Enjoy!

chanelle-henry

I first heard about Chanelle Henry three years ago via Kickstarter. Her successful campaign allowed her to attend SXSW for the first time, and she’s been blowing up ever since. Aside from being a user experience designer, Chanelle teaches courses through Skillshare, lends her graphic design expertise in videos with Howcast, and owns a boutique collaborative multimedia agency called CHD Collective. Find out more about Chanelle’s work and her thoughts on design in this week’s interview!
